According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, in March 2025, China exported 12,508.09 tons of copper enamelled wire, representing a 29.53% year-on-year increase and a 70.57% month-on-month increase. From January to March, total exports of copper enamelled wire reached 32,038.86 tons, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 22.87% (Customs Code: 85441100).
In March, the export market for copper enamelled wire remained robust, with total export volume hitting an all-time high. Specifically, in March 2025, China's copper enamelled wire exports covered 152 countries and regions. Among them:
Exports to Vietnam and Japan were 2,028 tons and 1,623 tons, respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 15.69% and 29.32%, ranking first and second in export volume.
Exports to South Korea exceeded those to Thailand, surging by 60.84% year-on-year to rank third.
Exports to Turkey, Mexico, Germany, and other countries grew rapidly, with Turkey's growth rate reaching an astonishing 106.81%.
However, exports to the Philippines, the United States, and Indonesia declined to varying degrees. Notably, exports to the U.S. fell by 10.24% year-on-year. Affected by tariff policies, copper enamelled wire exports to the U.S. may continue to decline in the future.
